This simple and robust Wilhelm Friedrich Schiek trichinoscope has similar characteristics to the 51d and 51g microscopes in this collection. Even this copy of the prestigious Schiek workshop is even simpler. The mirror is bolted to the base and the tab-shaped condenser has a single hole. It has a single focus by means of a rack in the optical tube with a knurled wheel on one side.
Its stage is fixed, square and has three layers: the upper one is made of hardened rubber and the middle one is made of iron painted green as part of the apparatus. The manufacturer’s mark is found on the lid of the wooden box and its serial number 25.156 is engraved on the edge of the box.
