It is an Aniscope pocket cylindrical microscope. It measures 7 cm high and 2 cm in diameter. Its upper part has a magnifying glass. It moves vertically to focus on objects that are inserted through the aperture in its middle. In its lower part it has a small opening with a thick magnifying glass that allows the passage of light. This instrument was recommended for children to make observations in nature of insects, water, blood, etc. It was a model highly appreciated for its usefulness and low cost.
